The Dr. Dahav Community Service Program provides opportunities at over 200 organizations throughout the community enriching the lives of participants and recipients. DKJA students devote over 17,000 hours annually.

All grades are given the opportunity to participate in community service. Many of our students and their families forge deep bonds throughout the years as a part of this program and as alumni continue these relationships.

At Donna Klein Jewish Academy, our mission is to educate our students and the DKJA community to be knowledgeable and responsible citizens of the world, committed to Jewish values and lifelong learning. Leading a life of purpose and engaging in Tikkun Olam (repairing the world) is at the core of our values and who we are as a people, Partnering with organizations in our community helps to build meaningful connections for our students as they develop empathy and perform good deeds in the world. As the only K to 12 Jewish Community Day School in the nation and the world to have earned the designation as a FranklinCovey Leader in Me Lighthouse School, our students' leadership abilities are enhanced by the Dr. Dahav Community Service Program. This program is instrumental in building a foundation for future civic leadership.
