On December 6, 2017, we celebrated the anniversary of our Annual Actors Workshop at Claire & Emanuel G. Rosenblatt High School at Donna Klein Jewish Academy with its 5th annual performance. Here at Rosenblatt High School we celebrate the arts.
This week, we were excited to present five theatrical pieces that showed the culmination of work from this semester, by students who are in the Drama elective. We are grateful for this opportunity to showcase their talents. In class, the students work on various areas of production. We have worked closely on choosing their plays, casting the shows, finding the music and background slides for their selections. All this along with acting, staging, budgeting, directing and presenting the production.
This program is for both students who love to perform and those who have always wanted to but were hesitant to take the stage. The students have fun while learning and taking ownership of their production. While practicing their speaking and presentational skills, these students are improving their self-confidence and esteem.
Please mark your calendars for our upcoming show “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast” on March 3rd and 4th, 2018!
