5/21/2021 Head of School Message

Dear DKJA Community,

I write this week’s message as a mom and as a head of school. As a parent and administrator, I have had the honor and pleasure of watching our senior class grow up into remarkable young men and women. I am humbled and blessed to have been part of their special journey. Each year, our seniors are accepted into prestigious and impressive colleges and universities, and this year is no exception. The class of 2021 will be continuing their education across the country and the world. Click here for a full list of college acceptances. In addition, some of our graduates will be traveling to Israel to continue their Hebrew and Jewish education.

Seniors are being celebrated this week as they complete their DKJA education in style. Celebrations started with our annual Senior Run this week. Our graduating class ran throughout the campus where they were cheered on by all our students, as well as our faculty, staff, and administration. Last night, our seniors were honored during our Senior Award Presentation and Rose Ceremony. Click here for Senior Award Recipients.

It was a beautiful night watching our seniors receive special recognition and acknowledgment for all of their hard work and accomplishments. Finally, the Claire and Emanuel G. Rosenblatt High School class of 2021 will graduate on Sunday night under the stars. I would like to wish a huge Mazel Tov to the class of 2021 and their amazing families. You are leaving a very special mark on everyone who has been blessed to know you. I would like to wish each one of you peace, health, love, family, and friendship.

Shabbat shalom,
Helena Levine
