DKJA’s Rose Ceremony Gives Teachers a Chance to Shine Spotlight on their Students

Each year graduating seniors from Claire and Emanuel G. Rosenblatt High School take part in a number of unique and memorable experiences celebrating the culmination of their DKJA careers. This year, the 38 seniors were given the opportunity to enjoy two special occasions, their Awards and Rose Ceremonies.

This special program includes our teachers taking the stage, to honor each of our graduating seniors and their special qualities as well as accomplishments during their time at RHS!

“All of the seniors look forward to the Rose Ceremony every year because we can’t wait to hear what our teachers are going to say about us,” said senior Robbie Shinder. “It’s a great way to start out the graduation weekend.”

While tears and laughter could be seen and heard throughout the night, each teacher’s short speech was unique, much like each one of our graduating seniors, highlighting their specific strengths in the classroom and quirks outside of it.

This fun and meaningful ceremony provides our DKJA families a chance to see the impact the school’s teachers have had in their child's lives and the special relationships they have formed because of it.

Along with their roses, seniors received a ‘Life After DKJA Survival Guide’, to take with them as they head off to college in the fall. The ceremony, was held on Thursday night and it truly kicked-off a weekend of celebration. We wish each of our graduates a Mazel Tov and we look forward to continuing graduation celebrations with them.
