#DKJA Virtually Commemorates Yom HaShoah!

Always Remember and Never Forget! Although we were unable to gather in person this year, #DKJA came together virtually to remember and observe Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day. As we carry on the memory of the six million, #DKJA students, faculty, staff, and administration came together virtually to participate within their divisions to commemorate this important day. Lower school marked this day in age appropriate ways in Judaics and Hebrew classes from storytelling to lighting yizkor candles. Middle and High School students each had their own assembly led by Baruch Plotkin, DKJA Rabbi-in-Residence. Students were given the opportunity to participate by reciting names, singing songs, and lighting candles in memory of the six million. Tonight our senior students will wrap up the day of remembrance by virtually participating in The International March of The Living.
