2017-2018 Sports Night at DKJA!

With five district championships and five first team All-County Athletes, DKJA closed out the school year with our most successful athletic season to-date with a Sports Night Celebration!

Nearly 500 people were in attendance as Athletic Director David Trell and Head of School Helena Levine congratulated 193 individual athletes that competed on a total of 23 different teams. Along with letters, medals and trophies that were handed out to our many student-athletes, plaques were awarded to those garnering All-Palm Beach County honors and honorable mentions by the Palm Beach Post. Gold and silver rings were also given to team-members and district champions in addition to DKJA coaches handing out their individual awards to their teams.

This past season, DKJA’s girls volleyball qualified for the state’s final four for the second-straight season, while the girls tennis and boys soccer teams won the district championships. The boys flag football team went undefeated for the second consecutive year and hasn’t lost a game since Oct. of 2015. Most recently, the Middle School boys tennis team added to the Eagles’ trophy case, winning the Independent Athletic League championship. "With finishing my 16th year as Athletic Director, I am so proud of the teams this year and all of our accomplishments. The school made history with five banners and the highest all-county honors." - David Trell.

GO EAGLES!!!
