Donna Klein Jewish Academy has launched a brand new official Alumni Association. We are very excited to build this association this year and connect with hundreds of alumni that share a common bond and love from DKJA. The Alumni Association is created to enhance the mutually beneficial relationship between our Alumni Community and Donna Klein Jewish Academy. We will be actively engaging alumni to maintain positive relationships with friends, teachers and administration for the future of DKJA.
This week, Claire and Emmanuel G. Rosenblatt High School seniors hosted Holocaust Survivors from Century Village for a Chanukah celebration of laughter and latkes, candle lighting and voices joined in song.
On December 6, 2017, we celebrated the anniversary of our Annual Actors Workshop at Claire & Emanuel G. Rosenblatt High School at Donna Klein Jewish Academy with its 5th annual performance. Here at Rosenblatt High School we celebrate the arts.
In our classrooms Third Grade students reenacted the story of Chanukah and are learning about the history of this Jewish holiday through our Tal Am program, classroom activities, library books and videos. Students led Chanukah games, art projects, reading passages and writing prompts are included among the Chanukah activities.

This week, five high school students from The Claire and Emanuel G. Rosenblatt High School at DKJA were chosen to join more than 400 other Jewish students from across the nation at the Schusterman Advocacy Institute High School Summit in Washington, D.C. These students were chaperoned by DKJA Rabbi in Residence Rabbi Baruch Plotkin.
Donna Klein Jewish Academy hosted an Open House earlier this week, showcasing the Claire and Emanuel G. Rosenblatt High School at DKJA. We were very excited to welcome almost 200 guests to learn about our program.

As we enter a new school year, I am pleased to announce our new communications team. Along with launching our new web site and continuing to implement the re-branding of DKJA, we have established a new Office of Communications.
Donna Klein Jewish Academy has welcomed Jill Shoshany as K-8 director of Jewish studies. Shoshany is no stranger to the DKJA family, having previously served as a Judaic studies teacher and as the dean of student affairs at Claire and Emanuel G. Rosenblatt High School at DKJA.
Mrs. Hilary Arenstein embarks upon a new role in the Admissions Department as Director of Enrollment Management. She has been a familiar face at DKJA for 23 years.
