Rosenblatt High School Minimester

DKJA Students Taught by Working Professionals During Unique Learning Experience

Students at DKJA were afforded a unique glimpse of the working world this week as the school’s annual Minimester took place at The Claire and Emanuel G. Rosenblatt High School. Beginning Tuesday, students heard from a number of working professionals in business, finance, engineering and science on topics ranging from the stock market, life as a CEO and even how to solve a forensic mystery.

A debate of current legal issues was also offered for students interested in law, as was an exercise in determining who the world’s greatest athlete is for those avid sports fans. The program, now in its third year, wrapped up Friday when students had the opportunity to perfect their writing and public speaking skills.

Each one of the Academy’s three specialty programs (legal studies, engineering and medical studies) was covered during the four-day experience.
