DKJA Celebrates 10 Years as a  Leader in Me School

Donna Klein Jewish Academy celebrated 10 years as a Leader in Me School with a virtual celebration on Wednesday, March 3. Students and their families joined our faculty, staff, and administrators for a virtual event that celebrated the accomplishments of the last 10 years and discussed the goals for the future.

Leader in Me is a leadership program for all ages, where students learn how to become emerging leaders, be more goal-oriented, and have a successful future. DKJA is proud to be the only K-12 Jewish day school in the world to be recognized as a Lighthouse School by the Franklin Covey organization. DKJA exceeded the many qualifications needed to become a Lighthouse school in 2015 through our commitment to molding future leaders.

Sydney Siegel, Director of Student Services and Lighthouse Coordinator for Leader In Me at DKJA said, “At DKJA, leadership permeates every facet of our lives. Over the last 10 years, we have seen firsthand how the Leader in Me has positively impacted the lives of our students allowing them to recognize the leader within themselves and for our faculty to realize that every student has genius."
