First Grade Siddur Ceremony 2018

This week at DKJA ended on a very positive and spiritual note as our first-grade class received their own Siddurs during a special ceremony held in Zinman Hall. Along with song and dance, these young students displayed to their proud parents what they have learned in Tefilah and how much this day meant to them.

The first grade siddur ceremony is one of the most special programs we hold here at DKJA. The program includes the students putting on a performance for their parents and special guests coming to celebrate with them. Our students showcase all they have learned throughout the school year that involves prayer from how we pray to why we pray and who listens to our prayers. This is a tradition that DKJA has been doing since the very beginning. We take much pride in being able to provide our students with their very first siddur, a treasure they will have forever. Today, 35 students received a siddur and we wish them all a Mazal Tov!
