We are pleased to announce that you are eligible to become a recipient of an Academic Scholarship to attend Claire and Emanuel G. Rosenblatt High School. A limited number of students are selected each year to receive 50-100% academic scholarships. These prestigious scholarships will be awarded to highly qualified rising high school freshmen, on the basis of academic achievement, dedication to community participation, and demonstration of leadership and character.  Scholarships are automatically renewable annually to students who maintain their high academic and community standing. No prior knowledge of Hebrew is required to apply for the Academic Scholarship Program.

All completed application components must be received by the Admissions office no later than January 30, 2019.

Below are the steps in the process:
  1. ONLY NEW students to DKJA must submit an application for admission. Current DKJA students must be reenrolled and submit all other required documents (no admission application required).
  1. Take the Secondary School Admission Test (known as the SSAT). Register online to take the test, click here. Testing must be completed prior to February 3 2019. Your scores will be sent directly to DKJA. Upcoming dates are November 10 / 11; December 8; January 5 / 6; and February 2/3.
  1. Once your application is complete, and we have received your SSAT scores, your file will be reviewed by the Academic Scholarship Committee. You will then be notified of your status.
  1. If you advance to the finalist stage in the process, you will be asked to visit for a day, and participate in an interview.  Interviews will be scheduled beginning February 2019.
  1. The Scholarship Committee will meet to select recipient(s) of the Academic Award. Notification of the award will be issued in March 2019.
