DKJA Student Signs for Division I Tennis Program

Rosenblatt High School Senior Jessica Siegel made it official this week by announcing that she will be playing collegiate tennis for Division I program at Lafayette College next fall. Jessica has been playing tennis since she first picked up a racket at the age of seven. Since then she has found a passion for the sport and continued to reach for the stars up until her most recent accomplishment.
Jessica has been playing tennis at DKJA since 5thgrade, was undefeated in 6thand played in 7th for our Girls Varsity Tennis team right behind her older sister. Jessica evolved quickly into DKJA’s top tennis player and never gave up on her goal in mind, which was to play college tennis.
Last year Jessica led DKJA to victory as we won our first-ever district championship. With her partner and classmate Eden Leder, they finished off the season by going to the state semi-finals in doubles while making DKJA history.
This year, Jessica is excited to finish off her high school career at DKJA leading the Varsity Tennis Team for the last time! “It’s a dream come true for me to play Division I tennis for an amazing school both academically and athletically” said Siegel on her signing.
DKJA was honored to celebrate Jessica as she made a verbal commitment to Lafayette College on Friday, November 2nd. A special ceremony was held at DKJA to recognize her outstanding accomplishment. We are very proud of Jessica as she is leaving her legacy here and continuing to fulfill her lifelong dream as she plays Division I college tennis at Lafayette College! Go Leopards!
